The airforce Hercules aircraft being sent to Malaysia to be on stand-by to help New Zealanders stranded in Thailand will remain there despite indications the Bangkok airport seiges will end.

An Air Force Hercules which left last night to pick up New Zealanders stranded in Bangkok might not have to complete its mission now the crisis in Thailand appears to be over.
